We can use generation of code on a project to facilitate the creation of artifacts and eliminate repetitive tasks.

An IDE (Integrated Development Environment) greatly facilitates the work of developers. This facility is obtained through the visual interface.
It is difficult to imagine a Java IDE manipulated by commands. A visual interface is a paradigm or requirement for people to use this type of tool.
Just as an IDE, a tool to generate working code should not be managed by commands, because the goal is to facilitate people's lives and not force them to learn new syntax, parameters, commands and so on.
Besides avoiding the use of commands, with a user-friendly, you can visually choose the colors and layout of the system that will be generated, and other details that must be visual.

So we have our first reason to use the SPIDER: a tool to generate code with visual interface.
